Modern slavery is a serious crime that violates human rights. Victims are forced, threatened or deceived into situations of subjugation, degradation and control which undermine their personal identity and sense of self.

At ICON Lifts LTD we do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business and are committed to ensuring that it does not take place in our work in the Industry. This policy reflects our commitment to acting transparently, respectfully, ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. At ICON Lifts LTD we ensure all workers are being paid at least the appropriate minimum wage and are not subjected to excessive working hours or unsafe working conditions. The recruitment process requires all new employees to undergo references, provide photographic ID and proof of address.
Employees at ICON Lifts LTD are encouraged to remain vigilant when working on site, in people’s homes and in public places. Modern Slavery Victims can be domestic servants working for couples or families, or employees in some sectors of UK Business that our employees may be required to attend for work purposes.
Employees are reminded and encouraged that if they suspect that someone is being exploited, to call the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 0121 700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, and always raise with the Director of ICON Lifts LTD.
